Beautiful and loved swimming in the river! It is really difficult to be without cell or WiFi though- we could have taken advantage of much more if we could have gotten information about the area while we were there!

We have been coming for 45 years. Love the place. Only issue is popularity which makes it very difficult to find a spot. Almost camping sites are taken by the big rigs that do not camp but stay inside. We are true campers. Will keep trying to get a spot.

Great location. A little tight for large RVs but the view made up for all the negatives.
Dump site was a little tight, needs some maintenance .
Had never been to the Indian rock house before, was really something to see. Unless you are in good shape don't take the entrance trail down to it Use the trail you exit on to get there. The brochure said it was a moderate trail, the writer must have been an Olympic Star

The campsites in the A loop are absolutely divine, and the entire staff is so hospitable! Steven and Angie, camp hosts, made us feel so welcome! Ranger Cindy and Ranger Casey helped me sort out moving my reservations to the first come first serve sites! NPS has done such a great preserving this National treasure! Very little river/camp litter and no light pollution except the moon! Thank you!

Camp host was friendly and helpful. The Rangers were very helpful with information about the river and areas around the camp.

It was surprisingly busy mid-week with very few empty sites in any loop. There were lots of families with kids so it was an active place all day but quieted down quickly at night. I would not count on finding a spot during the summer months in either of the walk-up loops, A or E. For easiest access to the river launch/beach area, you will want A or B loop.
