Camp site 80 had ample shade in the morning and late afternoon. I camped during Memorial Day weekend so the temperature wasn't too hot or too cold. The edge of Bryce Canyon was just a couple of minutes away by foot. The Memorial Day weekend crowds were not too busy either, which was a surprise. I was expecting Grand Canyon crowds. Camp during the day is pretty quiet since most campers are hiking the canyon or spending time elsewhere. The bathrooms didn't have hand soap, so bring your own. There is an outdoor sink to wash your dishes outside of the restrooms. Overall, it was a good experience.

Good campsite that’s close to many great trails. Only complaint would be people’s lack of respect of the quiet time.

Excellent location. A short walk to the canyon. Campgrounds were clean and neat. Great experience.

Loved Bryce Canyon! I camped in Loop D in spots 100, 106 and 80. D is definitely the best loop (tents only) because it's up higher than the other loops. It was a couple minutes to walk to the rim of the canyon. The bathrooms are small, only 1 sink in the women's and 3 stalls, but enough to wash your face. There's also an outdoor sink for washing dishes which was nice. You can also walk to the General Store (about 1/2 mile), horseback riding and bike rental. I would recommend sites 83, 85, 87 and 89 because they're up on the hill, but the tent sites are pretty close to the road on 87 and 89. Still, you only have a partial views because there are so many trees. Overall, the experience was excellent because Bryce is so astonishing and uniquely beautiful and there are so many hikes throughout the canyon. You can do short hikes, or combine them for longer hikes. We had all kinds of weather, but mostly sunny in the morning, so that's when we tried to do all of our hikes. I'll definitely come back!
