The campground hosts went out of their way to help us move to a site that was more level. The sites are supposed to be for RVs but I doubt 15% of them are anywhere close to level. RV refrigerators need to he level. Even after changing sites we needed 5 blocks to get close to level.

Mature campground, located on a mountain slope. Some sites are tight surrounded by trees, and some are on inclines, thus be prepared to have different leveling devices or accept that you may not be able to expand your setup. We came on the early weeks of spring, weather may change and can be freezing. Restrooms are undersized compared to the amount of campsites available, even if considering that Loop A and B cater to RVs (no dump site or hookup on premises at this time of the year). Campground is very quiet and restful. We enjoyed walking directly to the Rim trail which is short distance from the campground. Better bathrooms, coin showers and firewood are available in the General Store, which is a mile walk from the campground. You need to drive to deposit your trash.

Cozy little campsite with clean flush toilets. No showers on site, and we discovered Bryce's showers, a couple miles aways, are not available in the off season. Easy access to the Rim Trail (5-10 min walk down the campsite road), and subsequently to the popular loops like Fairlyand, Navajo, Queens Garden, and Wall Street. If you're an avid hiker it is no problem leaving the vehicle in the campsite and just hiking everything from there. We could see some vehicles needing leveling blocks or other types of leveling because several of the pads are angled, but ours was pretty flat for a campervan.

Really enjoyed this campground, was there before the rush, not many RV'ers one or two others a night. the view out the back of my RV was very nice, lake, snow capped mountains, great walking trails, beach... hated to leave.

Beautiful campground. I stayed in Loop A because it was still out of season. I did have a rooftop tent. So unless you have a diesel heater, or electric blanket or good sleeping bag, be prepared for it to be cold snowy nights waking up to frost inside your tent. Other then, that the place is maintained very well but because it was Loop A where most RVs go, you will have a good walk to get to the restrooms.

Nice campground. Thanks for having bathroom open. Nice stay.

Site A027 is advertised as a pull through loop but is actually a side of the road parking which blocks the exit of the adjacent pull-through site. Was also disappointed that no showers are available in the park (general store has showers but are not available in the winter.)

Great campground staff very helpful when entering the park and stopped by to check on us as there were only 4 campers on a very cold night. Wish we had more time to hike the canyon - fairyland trail was amazing,

We went in January in Motorhome. It was very cold, but could walk in the Paths indeed. It was snowy, but was beautiful!!! We got up in the morning and was everything white for the snow. The Parks restrooms were so clean than was very comfortable.

Loved staying at North Campground. The bathrooms were nice and well kept. The sites are walking distance to so many trails and the general store.

We track all the sites so you don't have to.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
