The park was very clean and the campground hosts and park rangers were very pleasant to deal with. We have stayed in National and State parks across the country and C loop (tent only) is probably the worst designed campground loop we have ever seen. Almost every site was on a severe slope. This is a problem, especially for tent campers. I would blame it on the terrain, but the RV sites were perfectly level. The sitese were also so close together that it felt like we were camping with our neighbor. Again, this wasn't the case in the RV lot. The bathroom facilities might as well been a portapotty. One sink, toilets that didn't work, and a disposable needle box (indicated full and looked like it hadn't been emptied in months). Never seen a needle bow in a state or national park. Fund times explaining that to kids. The water spicket was right in the middle of our site, so random people were walking into our site to get water. I know national parks have limited funding, but come on, you guys can do better than this. We saw much better facilities in the other Utah National parks we camped in.

Nice campground, close to the rim trail and easy to bike everywhere (visitors center, bike trail, showers) from here. Nice evening program at the amphitheater as well.

This is old school national park camping at its finest. Very nostalgic. So glad they separate the RVs from the tents. Please don’t let the RVs take over any more true car camping spots.

Loved that we were so close to the canyon rim and the general store.

Out of ten National Parks and Monuments throughout Utah and Colorado, the North campground was the worst experience. This was the noisiest campground due to truck noise early in the morning and the park staff running chainsaws at 8 am for multiple mornings to repair a railing. There were people flying drones in the park at Sunrise and Bryce Point overlooks. I have stayed at Sunset Campground the previous 2 to 3 years and was very happy with my stay at that campground. The North campground is the pits! I don't think there were very many sites that could accommodate 2 vehicles! There were RV's parked in the tent only loop. I was very disappointed with the North campground. The bathrooms were cleaned daily and thoroughly and the maintenance staff was good.I'm unsure if I would stay in the North campground again as I didn't get very much sleep.

No shade on our site (Loop C - 063). However, the campsite was quiet and the bathrooms were clean. Rangers were in full force and very active compared to other National Parks. Nighttime Telescope Program was excellent for our kiddos.
