We had a great time at this campground It was very clean and had excellent access to nearby trails as well as water, restroom, and showers at the lodge. My one complaint is the B loop camping spots for the RV. There is a one-way Lane that is a loop, however, most RVs are facing the wrong direction and must go in the direction opposite to the signs. Secondly, there are a few sites that are on a steep incline and more than chocks were needed to make sure the vehicle was secure. We met several people that had the same concerns and the biggest complaint was that this was not listed in the description of these sites

The super nice host allowed to park our RV in the opposite direction so the door was on the side of the campsite. The sunrise is really worth the early wake up and the short walk. Some warm clothes are recommended for sunrise.

It was great. I recommend staying here as everything is a short bike ride away. The Visitor center is a little bit of a walk if you are on the far side of the camp ground, but its not bad.
If you can rent an Ebike, I HIGHLY suggest you rent one for each person in your group. The park is small enough that you can ride around to all the locations in one charge.
My only thing is I would like to have the Park Ranger or the Camp Host walk around once at night and make sure people have their lights off. There was a rental RV that was parked in the center of the loop who had their super bright above the side door light on and it illuminated half the loop like a spot light. They went to sleep and left this light on all night. Luckily I had my van between me and them so it didnt bother me, but as soon as you walked around it was super bright. And with this place being a Dark Sky location, I would like them to have something where the lights go off at a certain time, or if you are asleep or away from the RV you need to turn the light off.

This emplacement is not flat enouth for RV. You must have material to ajust it.

Unfortunately this place is not flat. We saw the ranger who was sorry for us, but the campground was full so not possible to change.
If you are in RV, do not book it, you can't use the shower because not flat
