The campground is beautiful and comfortable. We went in summer, and the tall pines surrounding the campsites keep you shaded and cool in spite of the hot sun. And the campground is within easy hiking distance of the visitor center and most of the good trails. I definitely recommend booking as early as possible. I booked 5 months in advance, and we had to change campsites from in the middle of our stay because we couldn't get 2 consecutive nights in the same site.

Very nice campsite, close to the rim. Weather was cool.

The location tight next to the rim trail was nice. The sites were a bit exposed and tightly packed. Showers and firewood are available at the nearby park general store.

Despite the camping services being closed (no access to showers and wifi), the campground was clean, the bathrooms were decent and clean, and there were sufficient trees providing shade. Furthermore, adequate ranger enforcement was observed, to reinforce the need to follow rules (in particular the noise rule, is very important for those who want to enjoy a good night rest). One very nice aspect of this campground is that you are in short walking distance on the Bryce Canyon :)

This park has some great views hiking, and also offers horse riding but is so crowded that they actively discourage people from driving into the park. If you are looking to enjoy nature and not be around a sea of people I would not recommend this location
