Pit toilet was overflowing, no toilet paper.Otherwise it was great, but the toilets hadn't been serviced for quite some time and there was no camp host.

Campsites were clean, level and spacious. Campground was well-kept and had plentiful shade. There is lots to do from hiking or soaking in the river and hot springs nearby. Only negative was a neighbor who wouldnt keep their three dogs on a leash who were causing havoc and no camp host around to help. Would definitely visit again!

No camp host. We arrived late and someone poached our site.

No camp host this year in June and we missed him! No daily cleaning of vault toilets every other day. Forest service came by about once a week with t.p. and cleaned. Hot spring was hotter than usual - perhaps a function of changes to the bathhouse or the river changing course slightly. Several larger trees cut down in and around the campground due the fires of last year. This was potentially our last year of driving to this campground as it is becoming too difficult as we age to travel 9 1/2 hours to camp. We will miss this area as it is beautiful and wild!

Yellow Jackets everywhere at this site! Left for another campground.

I am generally a dispersed camper and I avoid camp grounds like these for the very reason I am about to write about. I found that some of the campers near my site were very inconsiderate, playing loud music after 10pm and their kids were throwing rocks and screaming well past 10pm. I was so very near a camper with a generator which they placed behind their camper and only 15 feet from mine. They turned it on but thankfully were kind enough to turn it off just before 10. I would just ask that in the spirit of why people come camping, please observe the quiet times listed. They are there for a reason. Those of us who would like some peace and quiet are willing to tolerate noise for an established period but we expect you to have consideration for others around you. The camp host is very friendly. Bathrooms were well kept although I did not use. The hot springs are amazing as always and I always seemed to miss the crowds, which was a plus. I can't say I would stay here again but I will come back for the spri gs for sure!

The site was great, loved waking to the sounds of the river. The hot springs were the best ive ever experienced.Only drawback is all the potholes in the dirt road leading to the campground.

We left for a hotel. Bathroom thrashed. Mainly visitors to hot springs. Host was not helpful. Huge biting flies. Just didnt feel right. No fire wood. Most hosts sell firewood or have a resource. The host told me just burn what I can find. On another note. Hotsprings were great.

007 is the best site for tent! A spot between 3 trees and no sun all day long. Flat ground, very shady and right across from the bathroom. Highly recommend

Our campsite was pretty close to the next site, so at times it felt like we were camping together. Nice people, but not ideal. The only bathroom in this area of the campground is a single toilet, and is used frequently by those coming to the hot springs. The parking lot for the hot springs was at the end of the campground, and the road to the parking lot ran right behind our site. There was very frequent traffic in cars, on foot, and including dogs off leash. The bathroom itself was smelly, dirty, and full of flies. Other campground restrooms we visited on this trip were not in the same condition, so it's not just a matter of it being an outhouse; it wasn't well maintained.The whistle pigs are nearly constantly whistling, so if that bugs you, this is not the site for you. The biting flies were a nuisance to us and to one of our dogs.We had a deer walk down the hot springs road, right behind our camp, which was cool. There are birds, chipmunks, whistle pigs, and more critters running around in the campground. The sun goes behind the mountain early in the evening, which makes for a cool evening, even in the heat of the summer. The hot springs are natural, as the water comes out of the earth; it's not a pool or any kind of a formal structure to visit. The water is HOT, so pulling water from the river to reach the optimal temperature would be recommended. That being said, there were people at the hot springs from early morning until after dark.

Small and quiet campground, just how we like 'em. The campsites were clean, and the camp hosts stopped to ask if we needed help when we pulled over to tighten some straps. A few holes/ dips on the dirt road going to/ from the campground, nothing major, just take it slow. Hot Springs were amazingly not crowded, but some are VERY hot! We enjoyed our time here. My only complaint is the vault toilet was either ready for a cleaning or needed more chemicals. We camp alot, and are accustomed to vault toilets, but these were especially stinky.

Such a magical spot! The sound of the river is super calming especially at night and there are hot springs just a short walk from the campground. We had them to ourselves in the morning & it was so peaceful! The springs have multiple temperature's of hot and warm pools!

Great camp host. Access road could use grading more often.

The campground is set well off the highway so that the only "noise" you hear is the rushing water. The campground was clean, beautiful, and the campground host was friendly and helpful. The trail to the hot springs is an easy and beautiful walk...and the hot springs are wonderful, complete with an outstanding view. I'm definitely going to enjoy going to this campground again in the future!

Had a great time. Went to the hot springs at Grandjean. Not far from the campground.

Great hosts who came by often and are hard working. Clean sites, clean restrooms. Beautiful area to be in. Close to the highway, but far enough away that you don't really hear it. Open areas would have been great for star gazing, but the smoke was too great to see all the stars. I'll be back again next year!

Hot springs are great. Watch out for chipmunks that are a little over aggressive... be sure and bring firewood and starter...campground very clean.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
