The campground is well run and well located. The site was not very level (A 17) but it IS the mountains so perhaps not surprising. We were there on opening weekend in a tent camper and it was cold, wet and windy. Too much so to cook outside but thankfully the Pisgah Inn is right across the street. The next day was lovely and we enjoyed a hike but the forecast for the evening was similar to the first so we packed up and headed down mountain. Will visit again later in the Summer.

No complaints at all. Loved the views, location, and our site was perfect.

Had difficulty finding the access paths to the restrooms. Could see the lights at night, but it was hard finding the way to get there. Restrooms were very nice once I got there. Campsite was enjoyable.

I like that campground, but it does have small sights and its not good for large rigs. We have a 22 travel trailer and loop A works fine for us. The elevation is around 5,000 feet there, and it was nice and cool. Ran the generator a little as there is no power. Need to fill your water tank upon entry or bring a full tank. Plenty of water there for drinking etc.

We stayed at the Mount Pisgah campground in October and enjoyed our stay very much. We had a very secluded campsite which was also very beautiful and spent two days hiking and enjoying the remarkable views. I recommend using the All Trails app on your phone so you won't get lost hiking like we did.

Just wish the camping sites were more level.
