Just stayed at this site for two nights. It has been rebuilt due to the hurricane damage. The tent pad has new crushed gravel. And the table has been rebuilt. There is gravel on the site grounds. It handles water well as it rained for about an hour. There is a path to the lake that looks to be new also. When I was there was plenty of firewood laying around. It shares a driveway with site A5. Negatives: Be aware that there are about seven steps to the site from the driveway. It's also near the lake loop trail, so you will get traffic during the day. No cell service. Hint. You can get WiFi service at the boathouse. Not the best site for sure. But good enough for a night or two.

We loved our spot right on the lake - A06. Great spot to take out your paddle boards right on Price Lake. It probably would not be the best site if it was raining though. Our friends stayed next to us at A07 which was not a bad spot but had lots of foot traffic due to the trail beside it. We walked the loop around the lake (just over 2 miles) and it was beautiful and easy hike with kids. Bathrooms need to be updated as they are very old. We did love the convenience of being right off the Parkway and close to great hiking!

Price lake has been one of my favorite destinations for over 20 years. Visits or campground stays here are always some of my favorite memories & times that I look forward to every year. Unfortunately the campground hosts have recently become out right rude & authoritative in their demeanor & approach. Other than the staff the park is a very peaceful & beautiful place.
