Site B26 is spacious and fairly secluded, near the water spigot, restrooms, and trails. This loop is dark at night, in the trees, and marginal for solar panels is.

Lovely wooded area in the mountains. Expect all shade sites. Had a great campsite and the lightening bugs at dark were abundant and magical. Lots of campers with dogs. Lots of trails including a major one right through the middle of the camp ground, so easy access to hiking. Knowledgeable and helpful rangers.

The lake is across the road where there is a boat (canoe, kayaks) rental shop which also sells firewood ($7 for a decent size bundle--3 for 20) and limited snacks. There's an honor money box for buying firewood after 7pm. The flush toilets at each loop where clean, but the one shower location was not when I got there about 9am.

Beautiful and close to Blowing Rock with tourist life. Loved it here and will def go back!

We camped at Julian Price Park campground the evenings of Labor Day and the one following. The campground itself was fine. Our site was large and private, yet near the bathroom.

We learned of another loop's bathroom facility that had showers and that was wonderful. About six separate rooms in that facility, each with a shower, sink, and toilet. Much appreciated as we were camping down the parkway and none of the others had showers.

Nearby picnic area and parkway overlooks were overflowing on Labor Day when we arrived (from further north on the Parkway). Crazy crowded everywhere. Many loud motorcycles. The next day was much better.

We love this campground! But there needs to be improvements in the campsites. We had a site which I feel is the best site in the whole campground, but it stays booked. There is a loop just for campers but most of those are not level or big enough. Would love to see upgrades!Thank you!

Lady in booth was very unhelpful and made us feel unwelcome. Site we reserved said it was a pull thru and could hold a 41 foot camper (site B26). Site was not a pull thru and there was no way to get into site without backing in and unhooking my truck. We left and drove to another campground.

Lots of hiking available, Clean and spacious campsite. Located very close to Boone and Blowing Rock as well as Grandfather Mountain. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a very beautiful experience and the park is located just off the parkway. Fishing, hiking, picnicing. are just a fw of the activities to enjoy. Also, the park has just repaved the roads and they are very smooth.

The location of the campground was wonderful. Great access to the trails so you don't need to drive anywhere, which really makes it easy to unwind and be away from everything. We lucked out with a terrific campsite but they are all so different, you need to do your homework. Many are literally parking spots on the side of the road . Definitely a place we are putting on our "let's go again" list.
