Price Lake is a very special place. It has everything you could want in a camping experience. My family and I have going there for 40 years.

Have been going to Julian Price for many years. Great rangers and hosts who are very helpful when they are needed. The only complaint I have is the last two years there is no hand soap in the bathroom dispensers. The bathroom cleaners arrive and do a good job of cleaning but they never fill the soap dispensers can't understand why not? I have had to bring my own soap and leave in the bathroom. Come on this can't be that big of an expense.Another issue no lighting in E section bathrooms at night. There used to be solar but that is not working, how about fixing it.

We stayed in the "E" loop, which is for RV's only. The entire campground is nice. The shower house is located in the "D" loop. There is no additional charge for the showers. There are many nice trails to walk near by at Moses Cone. Many are pet friendly.

Nice primitive campground. E Loop is quite spacious and relaxed, very quiet at night, sites are spaced far apart. Toilet facilities are clean and easily accessed. Shower house, in Loop D, is exceptionally nice. Wish there was one on every loop! Easy access to towns of Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Linville, and points between. Lots of outdoor activity nearby, with hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway, Price Lake Boat Rentals, Linville Falls, and Grandfather Mountain all within minutes.

Really appreciate that the National parks makes A number of camp site available to First come first serve individuals. Not everyone lives on a schedule. Rangers were informative and friendly.

Had a wonderful time. The weather was great. The staff was exceptional across the board. A big shout out to the crew that were keeping the restrooms/showers cleaned and sanitized. Felt safe using all of the facilities. The only issue was that the campground hosts were not very friendly or approachable. Seemed to dislike their job. The campground could use a lot of TLC and upgrades but would highly recommend camping at JP Campground.

Very nice and quiet campground. Good hiking and sites are adequate size.
