Very friendly and helpful camp hosts. Its a small campground with tight parking spaces. Lots of generators going. Convenient to lots of hiking trails.

This campground is on a perfect spot on the parkway. Conveniently close to lots of hiking areas and attractions and not far from downtown Blowing Rock. Be aware.. had absolutely no cell phone service at the campground which I didn't mind but be prepared for when you stay. If you are looking for a quiet campsite I would suggest to find one far back from the parkway because we could hear cars traveling on the main road. We also got woken up at 6:30AM with a loud SLAM and beeping due to the garbage truck picking up trash (this was on a Friday morning FYI). The fact that the campground has hot showers is definitely a plus and it felt amazing to shower after a long day of hiking and being outside. Would highly recommend staying here if you are interested in doing activities in the Blowing Rock/Boone area.

Great weather, even in August. (As long as one prepares for rain) The sites are right on top of one another--which can actually be a good thing when you book alongside friends. Relatively quiet, especially at night, despite the easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Our favorite campground in NC! We stayed on A loop to be on the water. Its right on price lake (fishing, kayaking, canoeing, SUPingno swimming though); and near Julian price park and the hike to Hebron. All really great things to do with younger kids! Only issues: they closed down campsites where a tree was going to fall and no one came to cut it down, so anyone booked down there just lost their reservation. Also, the bathroom wasnt great. The floor was always wet and smelled. But hey, we are camping, so, all good. It always had tp! The shower stalls on D were nice.

Stayed at Julian Price Loop A and was pleasantly surprised at the lake views from our campsite!

Facilities and infrastructure are older and not as well kept I expected.
