Along with camping we managed to get in some fishing, hiking, and kayaking. Had a great time. We stayed in E5, which is a nice pull though with a slight median between your camper and the road. It's perfect if you have a camper with a slideout. With a generator we had a relatively easy time and you can empty all the tanks on the way out. We had a slight hill to our picnic table and fire-ring. Easy walk to the bathroom facility located in E. Be sure you have flashlights though. The lights in the E bathroom are not working at night and it is very dark at night.

We were unable to get there due to RV break down.

Beautiful place with lots of wildlife. The 5 mile trail is a little difficult and long but so worth it. I would recommend this campground during spring and fall as it does get warm in summer and since no generators are allowed at night it would be warm for sleeping. Definitely going back. During week is also recommended as it can get crowded.

Ranger at check in was very helpful. Grounds neat and tidy. Lighting in restroom could have been brighter. Pictures of campsites are the Achilles' heel. They don't really show details of the campsite (moss growing on tables, picnic benches leaning over, dicey steps to picnic tables).

A well kept campground with two great hikes from campground and plenty more to do close by.
