Beautiful park with well spaced campsites.

The grass was a foot tall in the camping areas, bridges on trail going around Price lake falling down other tan that it was OK

I called the campground when I was in Boone NC and advised I was coming in from Boone, the park manager never advised me of the road being closed coming in from Boone, I followed the complicated detours for about 45 minutes and only made it to within .7 miles of the campground with more road closures so I finally gave up. Very disappointed, I called the manager back and he said he was sorry for not mentioning it and said he was having a bad day. He said he didn't know if he was coming or going.

What a beautiful site along the water. Showers aren't super clean, but the campground is lovely.

Love this campground! Beautiful high-elevation lake on the Blue Ridge Parkway close to downtown Blowing Rock. Friendly staff and nice trails through the campground so you don't have to walk the roads. We've stayed several weekends and the only issues we've experienced are neighbors with noisy generators and unclean bathrooms. Their trash/recycling center is nice, as is the dump station and clean water filling stations. Looking forward to our next visit.
