Lovely hosts. Our site 008 - was large and private. There was highway noise for those sensitive to that, but it wasn't a problem for us. There are sites further from the highway. Bathroom was super clean and smelled better than any pit toilet I have used. Wood bundles are available for $8. Dogs are $2 each per night.

For Oreville Campground: I would recommend the Oreville Campground if you are looking for a lovely but basic campground. Sites are widely spaced with trees and/or open space between. The host kept the bathrooms spotless - a welcome surprise for vault toilets. Plus, seniors can use a Sr pass to get a reduced rate. Yes, it is next to the highway, but the traffic noise didnt bother us. Lovely place to relax.

We visit here at least once a year and more often when possible. This is a great little park, always clean and well maintained. One thing we appreciate is that there are reservable spots and first come spots. Very convenient for the planner and convenient for the spur of the moment trips. Nice!

My husband and I camped here for three nights. We stayed in site 008 which was private and spacious. The campground is close to the highway and is a little noisy but it really didn’t bother us. There aren’t any showers but you can shower in Custer State Park if you buy the park pass. The bathroom is an outhouse but it was the cleanest outhouse I’ve ever been in. The camp host lady was very friendly.

This is a lovely campground with fairly private campsites. It is just off Hwy 385 so expect some hiway noise. We were there during Rally week so the traffic noise was constant until dark. There are several water spigots for filling small containers and the vault toilets are better than most. We had site #8 which features huge rocks in the background that the kids loved to climb, however, other than the nice flat pad to park your camper, the site itself is on a slope which is a little unhandy. The campground host was very nice. I would stay here again.
