Site was peaceful and quiet; there is shade, and the camp host was super friendly and helpful. There were water spigots, and the water tasted great (not something I could say of all the USFS campsites I have stayed at.

Started out with site 25 but was unable to get our 20 foot trailer in due to boulders lining both the driveway and the road. The host, who was great, was able to put us in another site #15 which worked out great. Beautiful place, would go again.

We love Comanche Park camp ground. The spacing is good, the scenery is great and Kim, the host is very helpful! We do not need hook-ups, the bathrooms are kept clean and it is close to town. We usually see deer in the mornings. Very peaceful relaxing camp! DON'T CHANGE A THING!

Wonderful campsite. Sites were roomy, level, and has decent toilets. The road noise was a bit loud but what you pay in that you get in convenience.

Excellent campground. Quiet. Well-spaced sites, most level. Clean pit toilets. Don't expect a dump station. We would go back.

We stayed at Comanche Campgroud in the Black Hills for a few nights in August of 2019. It's a beautiful area easy to find off the highway. It wasn't crowded even though it's an easy drive to Mt Rushmore.

Great campground and very friendly host. Very quiet and a great place to stay if intending to visit Jewel Cave. Cell phone coverage was almost non-existent, if that matters.
