Our campsite had nice separation from our neighbors. We did not feel crowded.

Beautiful location, nice sites. Note: Not all bear boxes are in working conditions (ours - site A016 - couldn't be secured shut). Great ranger led presentaion in the evening.

Campground has a lot of potential but lacks similar organization to other National Parks. We stayed in A16. Very secluded. However, there are only 2 pit toilets that are unisex located in the middle of the loop. No flush toilets. No sinks. No dish washing area. They were really disgusting due to the unisex decision. The only water was located at the loop entrance. Even worse is that the dumpsters were nowhere near the campsites. They were in the parking lot. You have to walk 1/2 mile or drive your trash. I would highly recommend this NP to go observe the setup at Mesa Verde. Their trash and restroom setup were AMAZING! Even with its location nowhere near a town and located a top a butte.I love camping at National Parks because the facilities are nicer. But Black Canyon really disappointed me. I hope someone really thinks about repositioning things and getting flush toilets.

Nice campsite let us get an early jump on seeing the park. Ranger program at night was excellent, kids loved learning about owls.

We had so much fun! Beautiful views and the night sky is incredible. The only slight issue was our bear box at our campsite was broken.

Excellent! We loved our site which was pretty private. The park itself is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.
Clean campground and not too heavily trafficked. Great Park to visit.

Outhouses were very clean. The campsite was very narrow and short. Our camper and truck barely fit the site. No power on loop A and we found out later that no generators are allowed in any loop. Honestly, once you have seen the Grand Canyon, this canyon pales in comparison.

WE LOVED THIS CAMPGROUND!! Easily my favorite campground in a national park. The space is large and private with a huge bear box. There was a nice large well protected fire pit. My only complaint that it was difficult to start a fire in the pit due to wet ash on the bottom of the pit, this issue could likely be solved by a handier person or not coming immediately after a rainstorm. The campground had a stunning view of the sun rise and set. I can not recommend staying here enough.
