Wonderfully quiet campground, clean and well kept vault toilets, and wildlife throughout the day, including tom turkey and mule deer! Trails and overlooks uncrowded and little traffic. A hidden gem!

Good campsite amenities, lots of wildlife, clean bathrooms, interesting and friendly ranger talk at the amphitheater.

We stayed in A006 and it worked well for our two tents. The spot had privacy and close to the bathrooms, but not too close to be annoyed by it. We would stay here again.

Excellent spot to camp — clean, quiet and convenient. Park was exceptional— highly recommend visiting all of the lookout spots and hiking the rim trail. Save some energy to stay up to see the magnificent stars. Please use red headlamps at night and don’t overly light your campsite. We had a group next to us who left their ultra bright camp light strings on most of the night and ruined the stargazing for all of the campsites around them.
