Beautiful area. Nicely sized, private sites. Rim rock trail from bottom of camp is pretty good. Nice clear sky at night. Fair amount of road noise and minimal view from site.

My 1st time to this NP and it was great. I was surprised that even the bathrooms at the visitor center were vaults but those and the ones at the campground were the cleanest vault bathrooms I have seen (and 3 months into a 5-month RV trek, on this trip I have been to 31 NP and many other NPS locations).

Aside from the Covid protocols, unseasonable heat, wildfire smoke and yellowjackets, it was a fine trip. Rangers were very helpful, walks out to awesome views were splendid. The smoke did make for colorful sunsets. At night the skies were clear and the milky way was shining bright! Enjoyed the Geology Ranger walk and the night sky astronomy program. The trail along the Gunnison River at Mesa Creek in Curecanti was gorgeous; do not miss this if you visit! We camped at South Rim loop B, very nice. We would have brought more water if we had known about the water restrictions in advance. Maybe NPS can add that to the "Alerts in Effect" website page? All in all a great visit.

Decent site, the toilets were a little smelly but not terrible for a vault

This was one of our favorite campgrounds. It was very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the ranger led dark sky presentation. Gina was funny and engaging and provided a wealth of knowledge that kept us and our kid interested. Thank you!

This was the perfect place to stop and relax on our first road trip to test out our new little camper. The evening Ranger programs were located within easy walking distance from our campsite and very informative and enjoyable for all ages. The Ranger led interpretive walk at the river is a must do.... just remember to use your low gears driving down to the river as not to burn up your brakes. We also enjoyed riding our bikes out to all the lookout points. what beautiful views!!!

Incredible park with dramatic views everywhere and nice facilities. Avoid the crowds and include this often-overlooked gem of the national park system if you are visiting the area.
