Beautiful canyon and great scenic drive with numerous accessible stops. Definitely a great park to visit as part of a larger trip, but there is not much variety in scenery in my opinion. I would do 1-2 days here but prioritize some bigger parks in Colorado for more variety. Camping was ok at South Rim but there is only drinking water, no tap for dishes/brushing teeth and no flushing toilets. We would have liked more shade on our campsite but the site of the site was good and bear boxes are at every site. Overall probably would not visit again (we felt that one time was enough) but is definitely a cool stop to make while driving through Colorado if you've never visited!

Unique and truly awesome place to visit! The campground was amazing, plenty of camp sites but far enough apart to get an outdoor experience. We had a cozy campsite, the only noisy neighbors were the coyotes singing nearby. Dog friendly for a national park, dogs can be at the overlooks and on the very pleasant Rim Rock Trail from the campsite to the visitor center. Geology talk from a park ranger was great. Overall wonderful! Thanks NPS!

The campground layout was kind of odd, everything was a bit too far apart. The campgrounds also have a pretty big wasp problem

The canyon was breathtaking and the campground was well maintained and easy to access. Our dogs had a great time

Found a deer at my campsite. Good place to look at stars. Garbage is a little bit of a walk, depending on where you're situated.
