Nice campground. The bathrooms are pit toilets but were some of the nicest I've used. There is one spot to get clean water, so bring containers to carry / store it. Because Black Canyon is a dark sky park, the campground has minimal lighting which allows for SPECTACULAR views of the night sky. We didn't find any information about dishwashing/gray water disposal and our bear box (site A22) was broken). We tried to locate a ranger or the camp host (who does have a site), but we never found either one. We left a note on the host's whiteboard for a few hours but then just solved the problem ourselves and erased it.

Amazing park! Super unique campground, sites were close together but still secluded. The sunset and stargazing was superb! Make sure to bring lots of water as they truck in a limited amount only for drinking. (None for bathing/cooking/cleaning). Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I had a very nice time in the campground. Nothing fancy about it; just a quiet, clean and beautiful place, especially on a great autumn day/night. One suggestion would be to let campers know if the fire danger is high enough to prohibit campfires. Or, maybe I just missed the sign giving that information. PS, I had never heard of this National Park prior to our visit. It is definitely a well-kept secret and a true national treasure.

I had a great campsite in loop A across from the restrooms, which were always clean and stocked with toiletries.

The trails were well maintained and rangers in visitors center were friendly and offered helpful suggestions. Conveniently the town of Montrose is less than 30 minutes away if you need camping supplies or food.

Sites were fairly close together and not well delineated. I was nice that bear boxes are available at each site. But it was nice to in the park.
