My personal favorite of all the parks!Campground - busy when we visited in late August, clean facilities though and well maintained. Most spots are very close together and there is no cell service at the campground. You can get service as you drive up to the high point though.

Gorgeous park. Both south rim and east portal campgrounds were great. Next time well be getting permits to enter the canyon.

We camped in Loop A, right next to the Amphitheater. We got to hear Ranger Kyle speak about Black Canyon, and learned quite a bit! Then we stayed for a night sky tour, and got to see many consellations. our campsite was terrific, and we really enjoyed the NP!

Nice sites with accessible bear boxes. Sites were quite small and little shade.

Black Canyon was fantastic. Our hike to Gunnison River was amazing. Camping on South Rim was excellent as well. What a clean and outstanding place to camp, hike, and explore. I loved it. Colonel Gary Hisle

Bathrooms smelled and had many flies. Water had a bas taste.

Campground is well maintained. There is running water for drinking use only (they have to lug it up from the nearest town so please conserve!) There are outhouse style portapotties, but no other amenities

It was a great experience to be able to stay in the park! Being able to wake up early to go hiking and staying late in the evening to watch the sunset from Sunset View Point and see the animals come out as it cooled down was wonderful.

Very nice and clean campground. We just wish there are more shaded sites and bigger tent pads for most of the campsite. Overall, we are very happy with the campground and created a lot of DarkSky memories..

What an amazing Park! Like many park goers, we had not heard of this park before reserving, and it was absolutely amazing!

This site did the job. We needed a place to stay and it was fine for that. I really liked the north rim site better.
