Great camp spot. Easy to find with a nice private feel to it. Good space for just about everything. You need. Rained the first night but once the clouds passed the stars where other worldly.

Beautiful campground. We were in Loop B. Two different spaces. Both felt very private, but bathrooms and other people close by. First spot, B17, had a view; second spot, B13, had not view but surrounded by trees and felt very private. Each spot had a picnic table, fire ring, and electric plug (Loop B). Easy walking distance to the Amphitheater for nightly Ranger program. We also did the South Rim Trail to the Visitors Center from our camp, about 1 miles easy (but hiking trail, not really what I would call a nature trail) each way. Toilets were clean, as was campground. Campgrounds hosts were friendly and helpful (but only one available for all three loops). Drinking water only is available.

Beautiful place. Though isolated, it would greatly help the camping experience if there were things like ice available at the visitor center.

My hubby & I were in our 26 ft motorhome & stayed in site B012, my parents were in their 24 ft motorhome & stayed in B013. There was plenty of space in these sites along with a nice tent pad, table & fire pit. Both sites were in Loop B. Site 12 is a bit more intimate, but both were lovely & clean. There is very limited potable water here and no dump station, so be advised. We were closer to the road than I like, but I would recommend these sites anyway.Black Canyon of the Gunnison park was quite spectacular. We were there on July 11, 2023 & there were minimal crowds. The visitor center was small but nice. There is a short 'hike' from the visitor center that has great views of the canyon. On the south rim road there are 12 overlooks. Our favorite was Cedar Point. There is a very short 'hike' (2/3 of a mile) to get to two viewpoints of Painted Wall = amazing!

Our site was very private with lots of bushes and trees around . Not very level though.

We stayed on site #B13 and we really enjoyed it ! It was big enough for our 20 ft travel trailer and our truck. We had a few deer walking through our site also, along with a friendly chipmunk ! The site has one area for your camper /vehicle and another area for your tent, picnic table and campfire. We camped only as a couple and did notice that there is not alot of space for children to play or run around on many sites. The Black Canyon is an amazing park to visit with gorgeous views on every trail, it is truly breathtaking !
Beautiful place. Can be visited within a day. Campground was nice. Does have showers and laundromat. All staff was very friendly and helpful.
