Small CG. Pretty location with stream running along many sites. Water access is by hand pump. No electric. Good spacing between sites. Stayed in 35ft 5th wheel with opposing slides.

The site was nice and well kept and we even had 2 moose wonder across the creek and into our camp site, we kept out distance and they didn't seem to be bothered by us at all. Beautiful area to camp.

Camp hosts are great! Lots of shade!

The campsite that I chose was close to the creek, but far enough away that you didn't have to worry about fisherman or hikers intruding into the campsite.

Our
Campsite was
Beautiful right along the tongue river! Water wasn’t turned on and I wish that was communicated better to us.

Prune Creek is fabulous. We had a great stay here. We were in spot #6 right on the river - it was shady and beautiful. We saw deer and someone near us saw a moose. We saw a moose in the mountains, but not in the campground. The water was convenient and plentiful. The campground hosts were friendly and kept things in tip top shape. I always wish the quiet hours were a bit longer, but that's not the campground's fault. We are tent campers in our 60s and we go to bed kind of early I guess - around 9. Would love to have generators shut off by then. I guess we're a dying breed. Area fishing is great and we loved Shell Falls. Also drove to a little historic ranch site that I can't remember the name of but it was quite interesting.

10 inches of snow to start our stay. Then it melted. Beautiful place, clean, enjoyable.

Great campground! Beautiful site and moose sightings every day. The bathroom/toilet was kept very clean, which we really appreciated. Our only complaint was the noise from the ATVs on the trail across the creek and traffic noise from the mountain road.

Prune Creek is a very beautiful place to camp. The camp ranger was on top of things and helpful. We had a wonderful time visiting the area!
