If you are visiting to spend time outdoors, this is a great option. If you want things to do in town for entertainment, this isn’t the place for you. Also, if you are pulling an RV, do not use Leatherwood Rd (I think…Google directions). The road is narrow, has a steep grade and had numerous blind switchbacks and even a rocky ridge jetting out into the road. We were pulling a 40 foot RV and we’re lucky no other vehicles were coming the other direction. Very dangerous and there should be something to warn you to go in from Jamestown, not Oneida.
Only other issue was that our electric kept flickering during our stay and actually went out on the day we left. Apparently we had a bad plug at the box. It looked like they were replacing some of the boxes tho, so that’s good.
