During the shutdown, this NRA was open. The campground and bathrooms, were immaculate. Thank you NPS!

It is too expensive for tent camping. I have paid around the same for low end AIRBNB. Which had air conditioning and private shower and bath. Otherwise the place was phenomenal. Clean, inviting, well maintained, and just a good all around stay.

We love stopping at Bandy Creek when we head south even though its a little off route. The bath houses are clean and warm in the fall/winter. The loops are fairly quiet. There are also good hikes from the campground.

Campsite was nice and what one would expect for a primitive site. Both bathroom facilities were clean, heated and have a couple shower stalls. Park Ranger was friendly and very knowledgeable

Beautiful campground with easy access to hiking trails. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Free hot showers plus an outdoor sink to do dishes. Food storage lockers at every site. Would stay again

Bandy Creek is well-maintained. We really appreciated the dishwashing station at the bathhouse. The campsites are great - easy in, easy out.

We love staying at Bandy Creek when we visit Big South Fork! The campground is great - sites are sufficiently distanced from one another, clean restrooms, free hot showers, and the most beautiful stargazing at night. If youre looking for hikes, we love the Honey Creek Trail and Twin Arches!

The staff at the ranger station were wonderful -- they gave me information about the hike I had in mind, and suggested others that I might enjoy based on what I like. (And they were right!) The sites were clean and I felt safe. And the stars at night! I saw so many.

Great camping experience at Bandy Creek. We camped in section A, designated for tents. Large, level sites with tent pads. Restrooms and showers were well maintained and clean. Campground hosts were accessible and helpful. Though the Visitors Center was closed due to Covid, it was staffed with personnel at the doorway who offered hiking suggestions. The Angel Falls Trail, a short drive from the campground is a lovely hike along the water. Another day we drove to the west side of the park to hike the upper loop of Twin Arches and then the Slave Falls Loop at the Sawtooth Trailhead - both beautiful hikes. Though the access roads to both of those trailheads are gravel, they are in great condition. The solitude and beauty of Big South Fork is hard to beat.
