This is a beautiful campground. We always enjoy our stay here. The campsites are well maintained. We were a little disappointed that you had to pay to get in the pool. We usually go in the fall and had never been when you could use it. We paid and it was a small fee, just seemed odd that paying campers wouldn't get in free. Bath houses are always clean and in working order. i highly recommend this area. Great biking, hiking and horseback riding ride out of the campground.

This was our first out of state trip and it laid a very high bar for the rest of our travels... Everything was super clean and tidy, plenty of space on the lots, great prices, plenty of trails and history nearby... exceptionally high bar...

Restrooms were clean and nice! The trees were beautiful and the tent pad was well taken care of. There were two issues we had, one was several cigarette butts and a tube of superglue (???) left in the fire pit that we had to remove before starting a fire for the night. The second issue is understandable but still unfortunate; we came in the off-season I think, so they had the RV campers and tent campers in the same loop. It would have been nice to separate them within the loop at least, because as a tent camper, RV’s can sometimes be obnoxiously loud.
