I have camped many times in Bandy Creek. The campsites are spacious, the bathhouse is great, and the weather was perfect.

The campsite at Bands Creek were lovely. We chose Bandy Creek because we ride bikes and they list many trails . There are many trails, but they are treacherous and impassable. Many trails had huge rocks on them and sections washed away. Walking on the trails was dangerous because of the rocks and tree stumps.

Bandy Creek was great as always. The sites are large enough that one does not feel crowded whether in a tent or a camper. The bathhouses are always clean and the hot water is almost endless. We cannot thank enough the workforce and other folks who work so hard to keep this place great.

Nice campground with great NPS Ranger Katelyn. Bathhouses were clean and stocked with tp and paper towels. Showers had good water pressure for a relaxing hot shower. Sites were clean and ample space from neighbors. Pool was open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No loud campers for the 5 days I stayed. Although, there was a barking dog somewhere in the campground, it wasn't incessant. I hiked the Blevins farm trail which was not clearly marked. Trailhead said 1.4 miles, but about .5 miles in came to a fork that said the farm was 1.4 miles one way and 1.8 miles the other way. I crossed an intersection with no markings at all and had to guess which trail to take. (I had taken a picture of the map at the trailhead, but it did not show trails crossing. When I arrived at the farm, the signs leading back said 1.6 miles back (the trail I just came from) and 2 miles for the alternate route. It seems their signage is inconsistent. Overall though, I had a great camping expirence. Flying bugs were almost non-existent except for a few flys now an then. Campfire wood was $10 a bundle at the camp store, which I thought was high, since the wood is probably havested from the national forest. One thing I learned about some NPS campgrounds, is that you can shower there for a nominal fee without overnight camping. That's good to know for dispersed campers.
Although we had planned on staying for 4 nights, due to the weather we only were able to stay one night. We had our two grandkids with us and the rain and cool weather was not good. The campground is very nice, and the bathrooms were very clean and nice. The hot water at the dish sink was not expected and was a great addition. We have camped there many times and will be coming back! The Big South Fork area is very special and we love the hiking trails!
