Great park, stayed one night while traveling through the area. Park was empty on a Sunday night in November. It was cold but restrooms were clean and warm.

Bandy Creek was great! The whole facility was super clean and well maintained. It was conveniently located just across the road from the Visitors Center and a camp store and right on trails and gravel roads for biking and hiking.

There was some sort of really really loud music going on just across the road from the campground that pretty much destroyed any nice quiet camping experience until 10 pm. Would be nice if those things were scheduled for somewhere a bit farther away from campground.

Love this place and I’m glad others don’t know so much about it! Anytime we’ve camped, it’s been very pleasant. We got there the Thursday of Labor Day weekend. The entire A section had maybe 3-4 spots taken. The back section had a single camper! Very quiet that first night and all the sites are much more private than any other campground we’ve been to on average. Rangers and hosts are very nice and the bathhouses are the best in the NPS. The hot water there can’t be beat and I can cook whatever I want knowing I can use their dishwashing station with the scalding hot water to wash pots and pans. Being a holiday weekend, it filled up pretty fast for Friday and Saturday but it was all mostly families with kids. Can’t wait to go back!

Very nice, clean and well maintained. Showers only had cold water. Did not get to do much due to the weather. We will be back.
