Great campground! If you want to completely disconnect from the online life this is your campground. Cell service is spotty even with a cell booster. The sites have water and electrical connections only. A single dump station, so be sure to bring a portable sewer tank. There are bath houses as well as playgrounds for the kids. Fairly level sites as well. They also have a pool open during the summer.

Campground is in a good central location to access trails, adjacent state parks, and Oneida if you need to make a run to Walmart or something. I stayed during the dry season so didnt get to see waterfalls anywhere, but Middle Creek trail was nice, Twin Arches is a must-see, and Hazard Cave at nearby Pickett State Park is a nice stop. A lot more for me to still explore.

We have camped at Bandy Creek many times. Its been several years so we were a bit disappointed in the following.Love the Mtb trails. 1-Campground store was never open the entire time we were there. (Sunday-Thursday)2. Trash bins were so full on Monday you could not add any more trash. They finally emptied them on Wednesday. 3. The bridge across the river was a total wreck. We always went down there and enjoying the water and sights. Very obvious there is zero maintenance going on. 4. Its just sad to see the demise of such a nice campground. Other campers had the same opinion of what was going on. I dont think we saw a park ranger The whole time we were there.

I stay in C27 and no shade at all. The sink outside of restroom for washing cookware had no water probably due to COVID. Paper towel in the restroom ran out for over 12 hours. Overall, the location is convenient.
