Bandy Creek is one of our favorite places to get away and soak in the quiet beauty of God's handiwork! Our time there was a blessing as always!

Very nice campground. We camped iduring off season so it was very quiet and private. Shower houses were very clean, warm and had great hot showers. Campsites clean and tidy (kind of close together whos would be great if you had a few friends camping too) . Will definitely return in the future

Beautiful campground! Lots of trails to walk on through deep dark woods. Just make sure you know what trail you're on and how long it goes. We walked on one thinking it was just a couple miles, and it turned out to be 6 miles. We had a little trouble backing into our site with a 43-foot fifth wheel, but we finally got in. There were a lot of big rigs here. But check the road you use to come into or leave the park because, while they are very nice and well maintained roads, they are twisty, narrow, and shoulderless as well as long, steep inclines. There are some over-hanging cliffs in some spots, especially on the way to Oneida. I loved this campground though. It was heavily wooded, and the fall color was gorgeous! Wish it weren't so far away from home!

What a beautiful place! So well kept. There was a bustle of activity every morning when the park staff would clean the bath houses and the bear boxes. The park is beautiful with the visitors center just outside the campground where there are very helpful park staff ready to answer questions. There are many places to get great views of big South Fork River with many many trails to walk. Absolutely gorgeous. My only complaint is that their signs could have been better, sometimes they were confusing and sometimes just absent. Also, if you have a big rig, it can be difficult to navigate, especially on the road coming in from Oneida. Hairpin turns winding narrow roads , it was very stressful driving. In some places, there are overhanging rocks. If you can come in from the back road, which is gravel thats a much safer route, even if it is a little on the narrow side. We had some trouble getting our rig parked. Ours is 43 feet long. But with the help of a fellow camper we got it done. When you see the warnings about the roads take them seriously!

We have camped at Bandy Creek many times. Always a good experience. The sites are spacious and level with plenty of space and shade. And the bear boxes are plenty big for coolers and cooking supplies. Bathrooms are very clean and well set up. The dishwashing sink is one of the best features. More campgrounds need to put these in. Price for the sites are very reasonable as well. We stayed in site D 34 on our last trip. Really like that loop best. Make sure you bring what you need, as it's a drive to both Oneida or Jamestown, but both towns have everything you need. Overall fantastic area! Will definitely be back!

Have camped here before with my horse and have never been disappointed!. Riding was great and close enough to other attractions to beat a rain day. Overall a great place to stay.

I have been going to Bandy Creek for over 15 years, and have tent camped, stayed in horse trailers, and used campers there. Its always a fun and beautiful place to camp, the people are friendly, and the bathhouses are a huge plus. The only issue I ever have is with firewood. You cant bring your own because of beetles and other pests, but the wood available for purchase isnt always dry, and definitely isnt kept in the same conditions that I keep my firewood at home. I want to be able to use wood that catches fire quickly every time, and theirs often smokes, requires a ton of fire starters, or wont start at all. They also dont have kindling. They could also benefit from a camp store that sells basic foods and toiletries. Running out of eggs and not having a store for the basics of camping is rough! The only suggestion I would make to an amazing campground is to put more effort into story a good variety, amount, and size range of firewood, and to consider expanding their visitors center to include a small general store.
