This was our first time at thus site and we stayed over the New Year with our 2 fur babies and we all enjoyed our time! The location was beautiful, bathrooms very clean, will definitely try and come back!

Great little campground - clean restrooms, friendly camp host and a pretty cool Ranger talk. Site 4 is a perfect spot for a large family - lots of extra room

We enjoyed our stay, other campers/RVers were friendly, we saw a gator, the moon was bright and so were the stars. Very clean bathroom + shower, friendly staff as well. Decent size campsite, good fire pit and grill. Great cell service for T-Mobile. Firewood nearby for purchase. Overall great stay!

The campground itself is not bad, a little close to the highway and limited tree cover are things to keep in mind. We stayed in the tent slotted areas ( space 6 which directly faces spot 7) The lake is nice and we the gators dont seem to be othering anyone. Our issue was within the camp management. We were a family of 6 looking to relax and have some family time. When we arrived there was no one really to check in with so we set up or camp on our site and settled in. Our neighbors at spot 7 showed up at 9:30pm, began playing loud music and setting up their tent. campgrounds quiet hours were posted from 10pm to 6am but no one addressed them except my husband who asked them to turn Down the music.They proceeded to party until 2am. We all got very little sleep. There was an RV I assume belong to campground administrators immediately behind there spot but no one ever addressed them. The next night they again partied until 2am, were throwing gasoline on a lit fire, playing music, invited a couple of friends to the campground ,and even brought out guns to pass around while drinking and smoking weed.My husband is in the army (so no stranger to firearms ) and was completely shocked. We had 4 kids sleeping in a tent maybe 50 feet away from these people and literally packed up and left at 2am in the morning. So not sure who is in charge but obviously someone needs to be, absolutely ruined what was a pretty fun weekend.

Beautiful campground with good size camp sites. Rest room keep very clean. Hosts were the best. Very friendly and helpful. Will defintely come back next year.

It's a nice campground to stay at near the Everglades. There isn't much as far as hiking or other activities to make it a destination. Overall a pleasant experience and I would recommend if you are going to try and see Shark Valley or somewhere nearby.

Had a wonderful trip to Big Cypress and the Everglades. The campground was great! Had drinking water, a large outdoor sink for doing dishes, and restrooms. The tent-only campsites have a picnic table (which states each spot's number) as well as a fire pit area that includes a grate on a swivel for cooking food or putting a pan on top of it. We enjoyed the dark skies for star gazing! There is a road nearby so we did hear some cars traveling in the evening, but overall it was quiet and peaceful. We saw an alligator in the lake, so be careful with children and pets! March was a perfect time of year to go as there were no mosquitos during our visit. The lake offered a nice cooling breeze.

Perfect location for my trip objectives! The three night stay was stress-free and the campground hosts were friendly and helpful. The grounds and facilities were clean and my tent site was quiet and private. No shade, but it's the Everglades after all and the environment I came to experience!
