Nice campground and nice Lake. All gravel and grass sites but with fire ring and picnic table. Restrooms far from RV sites, close to tent area and there is a shower.

We really enjoyed our 6 night stay. The host, Delores, was so helpful and the bath house facilities were clean. There were hot showers which were a godsend since we were off the grid. There are a few alligators on the lake that kept their distance and there was an abundance of birdlife. We hope to return on future Florida adventures!

Monument Lake was quiet and peaceful. We saw lots of birds, including a peregrine falcon. The camp hosts were helpful and kept everything clean. One of our best experiences camping in Florida.

Overall a nice well-kept campground with helpful and friendly campground hosts. However, the sites in the northern section are much too close together. Also, allowing generator use from 6am to 10pm (with some campers running them the entire time (like to folks next to us -- even when they were not in camp!) is too much and very annoying,

Hello !We really enjoyed the tranquility (far from the road), the absence of big spotlights (really dark at night), the friendly personnel and volunteers, the recycling ben.I strongly recommend the sites no 13 to 26 because of the presence of trees and mature palm trees (shade). One night, we had a neighbour who had it's generator run for 3 to 4 hours starting at 6 PM, so they could watch TV - 40 in. screen. So we had supper, we read and we went to bed at the sound of the generator and at the voice of the characters on TV.So I would recommend that the use of generators would be allowed for a limited time. Exemple : 2 hours in the morning (8 am to 10 am) and at night 6 PM to 8 PM.Note : I sleep with a CPAP and I don't need the generator to run. Batteries are sufficiant for all night.Thank you very much !

The setting was great, the hosts were friendly, and the night skies were unexpected.

Nice, quiet site on a huge pond with alligators! Campground manager Chris was very nice and helpful. Restrooms were clean and stocked. There are no hook ups but great cell coverage, unlike the other campsites. If you stay in one of the parks' campsites, you have privileges to use the water/dump at the other sites in the park.

It is a nice campground but try to get one of the higher numbered sites. Those right at the entrance (3/4/5?) are not very nice. Later when I had 21 or 24 it was much more pleasant.
