The dark sky was perfect for viewing the parade of planets. The campground was quiet, respectful and clean. The only thing I wish it had was more visible numbering on the campsites. We arrived after dark and couldn't see any site numbers so needed to look online to figure out which site was ours.

Great camp hosts. Everyone was very friendly. Facilities were spotless. Gators were a great pastime to watch.

Wir hatten pure Entspannung mit ein wenig Thrill. Im See eher nicht baden. Die Alligatoren mgen das nicht. Anlage super sauber und gepflegt. Moskitospray nicht vergessen. Viel Spa

Gators in the lake were cool. Weather was hot, humid, and buggy which was a little uncomfortable without electricity. Info board at entrance was helpful. Enjoyed wildlife including birds, dragonflies, and butterflies. Visitor center staff was good. Activities and sights all required driving. Canoe trip was booked a few weeks out.

A very pleasant 2 nights! The restroom & shower facility was excellent! No bug problem. Wish I had brought my fishing gear, the lake was a real plus. Saw several folks catch fish.

Great hosts and staff. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Peaceful campground. Amazing view of stars because theres no light pollution. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful location. Very friendly and helpful hosts and staff New campsites and bathrooms are wonderful. Only down side was the fly swam that came in one night. We were vacuuming them out of the trailer for a few days. Will be back

Basic but nice, clean campground. Hot showers. Very friendly hosts. The lake was full of gators. It was a little difficult to exercise the dog since I couldn't walk her close to the lake and dogs aren't allowed on any trails in Big Cypress (for good reason). I'd love it if campgrounds with strict dog regulations had designated dog exercise areas- just putting that out there. Big Cypress is beautiful! I'd stay at Monument Lake again.

The camping here was to my liking, quiet, great hosts, and in the middle of nowhere .....by some standards. Cell reception was great. Be advised that this is no hookups (water or electric). Have some water on board your Rv when you arrive. There is dump station several miles away you can use if you camp here.

Monument Lake Campground is great. Campground hosts (from Maine) were extremely friendly and helpful!

Nice park. Great manager. He was in the middle of dealing with a rude camper who left his LOUD generator running ALL day, even while he was away. If not for that I would give 5 stars as it is just what is advertised. Hopefully the ride camper situation is all resolved by now.
