Great place to camp. Lots to do nearby. Sites are spacious It was good to have a bathroom and shower at the campground.The camp hosts were very helpful.

Great experience. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot. Nice quiet place away from the city without sacrificing too much comfort. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Monument Lake campground is a fantastic campground. Bathrooms were well maintained as the cooking area and the trail around the campground. I look forward to coming back again.

The hosts or volunteers who oversee the park were very rude and not very accommodating. We did not leave are campsite and were asked to move are tent 3 times in a very short period . Therefore I would not recommend this park due to the powerstruggling pair of hosts .

Had a great stay in tent site #12, hosts were friendly. Did a lot of exploring from Monument lake.

The campground wasn't in good shape, the grass was overgrown, bathrooms not that clean, looks like an abandoned place, almost returned back home but since I was there... needs a serious TLC!

Nice campground. Nice lake. Nice scenery from campsite of Big Cypress Preserve. Showers, internet Service!!!! Yay!

The campground was very quiet and private. The comfort station was clean and the shower had great water pressure. The bugs were much less of an issue than they were when we camped at Flamingo the previous night but I would still recommend bug spray at the minimum.

Tent site very nice, facilities very clean. However after quiet hours two families came to the park and set up their tents, left their trucks running, and were VERY noisy. The host did not come over to tell them to be quiet, I had to yell at them. At 1 am they were still sitting around their fire and talking. The quiet hours need to be better enforced at this site.

The campground was clean and safe. There is a large alligator in the lake, apparently known as Big Daddy, that we saw several times. The mosquitos are very serious (even in a cold weekend in December). Be sure to wear pants and pack plenty of bug spray. The bathrooms are clean and well lit, no showers.

Great location easy access to hunting, fishing,great camping area plenty of space and working restrooms.
