Great clean campground! Easy backins, good power and easy water fill up at the entrance near the dump station We were greeted very nicely by the hosts and since we are repeat visitors they were very welcoming and made sure were remembered the location of the water and trash and informed us of the burn band. We really liked this Campground and the area and we already have plans to return next year. !

We stayed at Midway campground in a 32' Class C with a Jeep toad. Perfect location and price! We saw fox squirrels at the campsite and drove a short distance to the Everglades National Park Shark Valley where we rode our e-bikes around the 15 mile loop filled with alligators and birds!

Absolutely cleanest campground! 50amp service was available even though the reservation stated only 30ampwhich was a huge surprise. Quiet & peaceful with great star gazing. Will definitely be back!

We only stayed one night as we were transiting through but we found the grounds to be well kept and very suitable. They could stand to trim the trees back away from some of the sites.

The grounds were very clean and the fellow campers very receptive and friendly. The inclusion of 30a connections and toilet facilities were fantastic but the lack of shower facilities was unfortunate. I would highly recommend a visit when in the neighborhood.

Midway Campground offers a serene and picturesque camping experience. The well-maintained area, clean restrooms, and spacious campsites create a comfortable environment. The proximity to hiking trails and natural attractions enhances the overall appeal for nature enthusiasts. We enjoyed the Ochopee Visitor Center, the Kirby Storter and the HP William viewing area.

Midway is one of my favorite places. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was just about everything I would want in a camp site. The only thing that would make it better is if it had showers. It was not only quiet but there were no bugs. Others have told me it has been dry there so that is why. First place I have been without bugs. Thank you. I will be back to stay.

Beautiful campground! While we were there we enjoyed going to the Oasis Visitor Center, Joanies Blue Crab Cafe, and Shark Valley. In the past, weve gone to Everglades City, which has an excellent museum about building the last section of the Tamiami Trail.

Great campground. Wonderful host. I wish they had better cellphone coverage. You had to drive down the road 5 miles to have coverage. Sometimes our texts would not go out. No phone calls.

The sites are flat and easy to get into and roomy enough. I didn't needWe were only 17 miles from the Shark Valley Trail that we rode twice while we were there. Cell service was poor (Verizon) but that is normal for a remote location. Bathrooms had flush toilets and worked. There are no showers.

This is a nice campground on Hwy. 41 in the Big Cypress National Preserve with electric hook-ups. There are no showers, but the location and friendly people make up for this. Most people have showers in their campers or at least water in the holding tank. The hosts (sorry I can not remember names) are really nice. They even have a book exchange, list the weather and post a few good quotes. Shark Valley at mm 36 is close for fun viewing nature with a nice bicycle, tram or walk. Because of Covid we did not attend the Everglades seafood celebration in Everglades City, but heard it was a busy and tasty event with many motorcycles.

The campground was beautiful and very pleasant. The hosts were quick to help us and fun to visit with. We missed the convenience of water and sewer, but for one night it was fine.

Fabulous national park campground! Easy water-fill and dump station. Electric was needed as it was really hot which is odd for late December.
