The campground was very cozy. We were welcomed by the campground host who was very knowledgeable and social. This is a great place to stop near Big Cypress.

The campground itself was fine, the bathrooms were disgusting, there was no toilet paper the entire time we were there and no campsite host or park ranger to help for anything.

Wonderful surprise!This was a last-ditch option trying to make progress toward the Keys. I figured itd be a nothing-night stay. Instead, it was a beautiful drive to it at sunset; the campgrounds were well-attended yet silent; the night sky was dark and I saw a shooting star. Up early the next day: great head start before South Florida traffic. Great campsite.

Very clean bathrooms. Unfortunately no showers but very nice sites all around. Staff was friendly and always willing to help. Would love to camp there again soon. Great fishing along the main highway. Also a little general store about 15 miles down the main highway.

Midway provides a clean, well-kept, no-frills campground. A mix of RV and tent sites arranged around a pond, the hosts are very welcoming and had several recommendations for activities and places to see. The toilets are listed as "chemical", but they are fully plumbed and cleaned daily (at least once). In ground fire pits allowed us to have a nightly fire that was a great end to busy days. There is a central source of potable water but no electricity.

We had so much fun at this campground! Our kids had other kids to play with, and we got to check out a couple of the nearby National Parks and see lots of gators!

It worked well, for a site with no amenities other than a table and grill; PortaPotties and water were nearby. Camp host was helpful in finding us our place.

Midway was great! We even heard alligators roaring at night. Had lots of fun with the water trails. Would visit again.

Location is nice , small clean and quiet camp site.Some point that we were not quite happy about them. there is noting for tent area even a power hook to to use for electric kettle to make some hot water.The ranger during the day was very nice open to people but the guard during night was very unfriendly to us.We used a power hook for making some tea, he came and spoke in a non friendly way to us. We have been in many other camping sites in Florida, all of them have at least a power hook for tent area.Beside, there is no shower in utilities so not good to stay more than one day.
