Campground is very nice zoom and well kept. Just wish they would add water at sites, hot showers more toliets in the mens room and dish washing station. Viewed one person washing dishes at potable water area.

What a great park. Lola the camp host is a very cheerful, helpful fun person. She suggested some things for us to explore. Like the 24 mile Loop Road back in the Big Cypress. If you like the wild, drive the Loop Road. Thanks Lola. It is mostly a gravel road. It took us 2 hours. We loved every minute of it. We stopped at a pull off for lunch whole back there. Lola is always cheerful. I have to give Lola 5 stars.*****We will stay at Midway Campground again.

Very helpful host, still need some work on campground , hard entrance to get into and very steep back end of motor home drug the whole way in. Plenty quiet even with railroad close

Midway is a clean, peaceful place to camp. The camp hosts were great. The only negative which wasnt their fault was cell service is almost nonexistent. We had a great time.

Very nice place to camp outdoors. The host was very nice as well. I felt bad for the host and family (cleanup) due to picnic goers trashing the female bathroom. How rude not to clean up after yourself and not make a mess for someone else to cleanup.

Midway Campground is very unique. Though there is only power at each site, no water or septic, it is clean and well kept. The location is very different from Flamingo. Flamingo is great for getting away from everything because you are very deep into the park, so the only facilities are those offered by the park. Midway, on the other hand, is set apart and feels isolated, but there are a variety of services nearby. The Mikosukee Indian tribe offers tours and cultural education, lots of airboat tours and the tram out to the observation tower are a short drive away.

Beautiful sites and very quiet campground. Loved seeing the mist rise on the pond in the mornings. Hosts really care about the campground. Great base for visit to Shark Valley and also for Big Cypress.

Have stayed @ Midway a handful of times while SB to the Keys. Always a great experience. Sites are great. This latest stay we now have a 40' toyhauler and full size P/U 8' bed. Had to angle park the truck to fit on site but no biggie. Sites had 20/30/50 amp electrical posts despite what the Recreation.Gov site says (they say 30 amp). Potable water & dump station in C/G near the exit. Bathrooms available but no showers. Bring whatever you may need/want cuz there is nothing close by to buy it from. Cell service has improved greatly. We have FirstNet & AT&T and were able to get/make calls and even stream Youtube TV from our site. Bugs were also not as bad as prior stays. Only minor complaint is why do they design the Federal C/G's so you have to blind side back???

Midway Campground is a really special place. It has a southern Florida /Everglades feeling. The campground hosts are very helpful, friendly, and always available. The sites are paved and level. Electricity is a bonus. Its a great place to walk around the little lake. Its small enough to get to have some great conversations.

Its a very nice campground in the middle of nowhere. The units are paved and levelled. Its perfect for one night stay if you visit the mangroves around or if you travel from coast to coast.

Nice small campground. Stayed two nights and explored shark valley, visor visitor center and enjoyed a boat ride from Everglades city. Could have stayed longer .

We have a 39ft RV and a 10ft trailer. Check in was easy, and the spot was spacious. There are several parks with trails within a few miles. Lots of alligators along the road in the water way. Keep in mind there is no phone service or internet. There is only electricity at the sight, but the park has a dump station with potable water. Will definitely recommend.

Midway is a very peaceful place to stay with very good amenities. The only thing lacking is cell phone reception. It doesnt sound like a big thing but having no contact with family is very hard for me. I wish they would install a booster or something as theres a cell tower not that far away.

A place to stop along the way. For the price, not worth it all. No showers and no water. Clean is all I can say.

This campground is really in the middle of nowhere but it was nicely maintained. We camped in a 40' RV and it was easy to get in and get out. We made our reservations about a week before our trip and there were plenty of spots the day of our visit which was a Friday. All RV sites have 30/50 electric only hookup. The camp is about 30 minutes outside of Everglades City. It was a nice place to stop to break up a longer day of travels. Also cheap.
