The camp hosts at Midway Campground were amazing! Very efficient, friendly, informative, and helpful. The campground was well taken care of, restrooms were clean, and the campsites had nice picnic tables. I do wish they had showers, but I could have driven down the road to the next campground and used theirs, if needed. Cell service was non-existent or I had 1 bar LTE (if outside my trailer), but close by at the Visitors Center I had full service. Will definitely return to this campground in the future.

Midway is really a good way to experience the Everglades. It is very remote, quiet, and dark at night.

Great campground. We were in site #16 and unfortunately, our rig is over 13' tall and the branches are low hanging. We ended up having to park half on/half off the pad to avoid hitting the low hanging branches. Also, there was no camp host to contact while we were there.

We fully enjoyed our 10 day stay at Midway Campground and will certainly be returning again when we can. I understand Midway may be getting showers installed in the near future, and that will be a big improvement. I'd also like to see water available at the sites, but that may may be too much to wish for. The electrical upgrade a couple of years that added 50 amp service at the sites was very much appreciated due to the hot weather during our visit. Being able to run both of our rooftop air conditioners was a blessing. Thank you!

Nice quiet campground. Plan on a lot of driving to get around to activities.

RV sites were well spaced but could use vegetation between sites. Bathroom needs a good, deep cleaning. There needs to be a bike/walking path in the woods to the Oasis visitors center or at least a 45 MPH speed limit in that area and a path adjacent to 41.

Camp hosts / maintenance are a bit too intrusive on camp space, driving golf carts through back of sites, mowing at in opportune times (late afternoon when the morning and midday had campers away / vacant sites. Biting midges are extremely irritating.
Camp is generally clean, sites good size and access to N Everglades areas of interest is beneficial.

Beautiful campground, where campsites surround a small lake. Convenient location in the heart of the Everglades. I'd highly recommend Midway Campground.

Great campground. Nice campsites with plenty of room. Friendly campground staff. For some reason I thought the site would have electric and water. There is no water at the sites. The host checking us in reminded us of that and recommended that pull over to the water point if we needed water. Just make sure you have enough water to get through your stay or some way to tote water to your RV.
