Enjoyed our stay here very much, good site, good power, STARLINK worked great. Site 26, 35 5th wheel. Would be nice though if lake was trimmed around, to enable better fishing access and better view of safety concerns (Gators)

Very clean, quiet campground. Friendly camp hosts. No or spotty cell service so relaxing is mandatory! Would definitely go again.

Excellent site. We are in a 40 MH, with a full wall slide on the driver's side, we had to hug the passenger side because of a lower limb, but it wasn't an issue.

Midway campground is a nice campground in the middle of Big Cypress. It has electric hookups only. There is water and a dump station available. No showers. It is fairly close to Shark Valley Everglades bike trail, which is why we camp there. It would be nice if they sold ice and firewood, as you are quite far from all stores, gas stations, etc.

Well maintained small campground, roomy level sites all with electric. Perfect spot for star gazing. Close to Shark Valley for bike riding. Only minor drawback is lack of showers.

Great little campground in the big cypress. Nice and secluded. Near many areas of interest. It was a good one. No water or sewer at the site but that was not a problem. They do have potable water to fill your tank.

My RV is a 40 ft Class A. The sites can accommodate my RV but the road is too narrow to allow backing into the sites without getting off into the grass. It wasn't a problem but could be if there has been a lot of rain. Its actually a nice little campground but cell reception is terrible.

Very clean and quiet. The park manager on site was friendly. On the way out the dump station was easily accessible and we had plenty of time to clean out our black tank. The surrounding nature was also beautiful.

Nice and quiet place even the street is next to the Campground. We stayed only one night. Next time we would go for a longer stay.

What an excellent campground! As good as any I've stayed in. Lots of space between campsites. Beautifully maintained with clean bathrooms. If you want a shady site, book sites 14-26. (26 is large with no one beside it). If you want sunny then book 1-13. While there is no sewer at each site, it is easy to drive over to the dump station in the campground. The rangers and volunteers were very friendly and helpful. The location of this campground is perfect. Easy trip across to Everglades City to the west or Shark Valley tram tour and the Everglades to the East. You have to stop at Joannies to eat after you do the Wet Walk in the Swamp with the rangers!

We only stayed at Midway Campground one night; however, the campground was very nice. All of the sites were spacious and level. We are already planning a longer weekend in the future. Here's what you need to know. It is truly in the middle of the everglades. Phone reception is very low if it exists at all. The sites are electric only. They do have potable water on site that you can fill your fresh water tank. It's very convenient. Make sure you have enough food. Sounds funny but your looking at 20 miles one way in either direction to find food. That said the Oasis visitor center is close by and is very nice. There a road called "The Loop" that will also take you back to nice viewing areas. Airboat trips are available and again are about 15 to 20 miles on either side of the campground. Still, nice place to stop for a couple of days to enjoy the national park.

Well maintained campground. Had a great stay. Only thing I would add is to post a sign for campers to cross the highway to see alligators, many were in the slew across the road.
