Very clean, nice campground. Camp hosted was great and very helpful. Bathroom very clean, but no shower! We were allowed to use the shower at the campground about 8 miles down the road. No phone reception for AT&T. Close to Shark Valley and Everglades City.

I mistakenly made reservations at a different park, didn't realize it till I pulled into Midway. The host was very nice, but stated that she could not help me fix my mistake, and it must be done online. Well, Midway is in the middle of nowhere and I had no internet. I asked her if I could just rent a site from her, and again she said no as it all has to be done online. I've stayed at Midway a few times before, liked it. But in the future I will find somewhere else because of this.

Excellent hidden very small campground. It appears to us that many of the campers are people who have been here before. Theres no services other than your 30 amp. You can get potable water and flush your tank on the way out of the campground. The bathrooms were clean and well cared for as were the grounds. Please be aware there are no showers here and very very limited cell service if you want a nice quiet dark spot with a few neighbors this is a great campground and I would recommend it.

The website does not specifically list no showers. In my experience, campgrounds with electric hookups and flush toilets tend to have showers so I didn't research this. Even an outdoor shower would be helpful. The campground itself is nothing special with sites right on top of each other in an open space. Unfortunately, other campers let their dogs poop wherever and didn't pick it up which caused us to have to avoid land mines on the way to the restroom. With 3 camp host, I would have thought that campers would have been monitored for this behavior.

The campground was immaculate and the hosts were very helpful. Good Verizon service with our cell booster. Mosquitoes werent bad (mid March). Convenient to all Big Cypress, Everglades City and Shark Valley Everglades Visitor Center/Tram-bicycle trail. Definitely do the Loop road!

Nice in between stop. But we had to leave a day early. I was not prepared for the no see ums. Not the fault of the park though.

This was our first visit to Midway Campground, and we were not disappointed. Very quiet and peaceful; and the grounds were clean. The staff we chatted with were all very friendly and helpful. We had gone to see the meteor showers, but the clouds did not cooperate, but we still enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

What a great campground. The camp hosts and maintenance staff were friendly and accommodating. The campground is very well maintained. Many people complain about the lack of cell phone service and internet access but I found it a relief to be disconnected from the world if only for a short time. Cant wait to go back again.

We enjoyed the quite location and proximity to the airboats. This site was the perfect spot to stay the evening before traveling on to the Keys.

Midway Campground was nicer and larger than I anticipated after viewing online. Sites are not too close together and all have a view of the pond. The area is well maintained. Star gazing is fantastic on clear nights. Well worth a stop when in the area.

We used it last year as a one night stop over on the way to the Keys and decided that we should spend more time there next time. There is lots to see and do in the area. This year we spent 3 nights there and really enjoyed it. It is a beautiful, quite, well kept campground. There is only electric at each site, no water or sewer but that is only a minor inconvenience. There is water to fill your tanks and a dump station.
