The campsite was very well maintained, the sites were spaced out well, and the bathrooms were clean, BUT the campsites are very close to US41 so constant noise from cars should be expected. It looks like the burns campground was further from the highway.

Super helpful campground employees upon entering Midway. Quiet, nice bathrooms, peaceful. Grateful for the Lifetime pass discount. Lovely time.

Amazing campground, in a serene location. The tent campsites are the cleanest ones I saw. The grass is well maintained at the campsites, we didn't needed a air mattress to sleep. The restroom (flush toilet only no shower) is well maintained.

This campground is very crowded. No shower provided. Not good for tent camping more than one night.

The campground is positioned perfectly to get to everything you want to do in the Big Cypress National Reserve. There is a restroom with one flushing toilet and a flushing urinal. After that the amenities are on the primitive side. There is no electric on the tent camping sites and no water for any camping sites and only one facet connected to the restroom. Fairly primitive for most campers. To end on a good note, the staff was great. They were very helpful and do go out of their way to help. If you want a fire (when allowed), make sure you get your firewood before you get to the campground. It's a 40 mile round trip to the nearest store selling it.

Basic campsite with a nice fire pit/ring and picnic table. There isn't a whole lot of privacy or division between sites at Midway, but it was easy to set up and get situated.
