Campground was neat and clean. The worst part was the burros making noise all night, but it was part of the experience!

Campground was so clean and space in between campsites was perfect. This is a dark park so there arent any campground street lights. I have stayed at other dark parks and I can say, without question, the stars we saw on this clear night were spectacular. Would highly recommend this campground, just know that dogs arent allowed on trails in the park but they can walk leashed around the campgrounds. 5 star campground.

We were at campsite 98. Tent site is rocky gravel; bring a tarp or tent footprint. Our site had neighbors close by on all sides, little privacy. Wish we had brought ear plugs for the noisy folks next door. Bathrooms clean and close by, no hot water. Nice base camp for East side day hikes. Enjoyed a Ranger talk at the amphitheater one night. We were there Xmas week, so very crowded with rec.gov showing every single car campsite fully booked in the whole park. But frustrating to see so many empty campsites. Improvements to the system sorely needed to reduce no-shows.

the reservation system is not user friendly and extremely difficult to cancel as most national parks have limited phone coverage and wifi.

I had zero problems here. The feral donkeys were my alarm clock.

It is close to Boquillas Canyon.
A coyote walked thru at dusk.
Sweet camp hosts
