Nice sites. Be aware irrigation may flood part of your site for a day or two. Nice convenience store. Pay showers $2 for 5 minutes. So much to do and explore in this park.

This site was not as private as I had hoped and not really any shade. The picnic table is not covered. Our door didn't open to see the neighbors so that was a plus. The neighbors were very rude though and walked through our campsite. Once was right by the door in front of our camper. The bathroom is next to this site across the street and very busy. That thing is used from sun down to sun up it seemed. This site is generator friendly if you need it. Surprisingly didn't hear traffic all night this trip. Overall, we keep coming to Rio Grande Village. It is generator friendly at some sites, close to a favorite trail, feels safe and we usually see wildlife.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, spacious sites, able to use generator, nice for walking dog, great location to visit Mexico for lunch, take a few hikes, short distance to several of the sites on the east side of the park.

This is a nice, but very busy campground. Unfortunately, I was stuck less than 15 yards away from three men smoking some rank smelling tobacco and frequently heating up some very smelly sort of food over a loud camp stove. They were talking loudly without pause for several hours, playing music at various volume levels depending on their mood, and kept a bright lantern on. They didn't have a tent or any sleeping bags out, and I assume they finally slept in their car. I had to tell them to settle down twice. Third time would have been to try contacting the park management, but I was so tired I finally just fell asleep.I'm more inclined to stay in the backcountry spots of BBNP and this was the first time I tent camped in a campground in many years. It's probably just me, more than the campground, but I did not enjoy my stay. Too crowded, too many vehicles (I never knew how annoying electric car noises compared are) moving around at night. Just too much going on for it to be an enjoyable stay. I'll not stay again if it looks like it's going to be even nearly as crowded as this. Other than that, the camp store is pretty well stocked and the people running it were helpful. Easy access to Boquillas and a great Sunday brunch at Falcones Restaurant made it worth the stay

I never thought I would write a bad review for anything to do with a national park, but here it is. Shortly after we checked in, the friendly camp hosts stopped by to inform us about the dark sky policies. Fantastic, we wanted to stargaze. Boy were we disappointed when the sun went down and the bathroom nearby lit up as bright as the sun with nothing covering the windows. If there was a motion sensor, it never turned off. We talked to the camp hosts and they said they would talk to maintenance about it, but nothing was done during our four day stay. Other than the bright lights, the campsite is nice. It's spacious and easy in and out, but there were some low hanging branches to watch out for. The camp hosts are super nice.

Campsite was partially flooded when we arrived. However, we were not allowed to stay in one of the dry, unused campsites, so we pitched our tents in the only dry area. A day later, the campsite flooded completely & we were forced to sleep in our car as all our belongings flooded. Only at this point were we allowed to relocate.

We really enjoyed our 5 day stay. There is plenty to do and things to see. The campground is clean and well kept.

We were in site 93 and it was large and fairly level with grass and a lovely view. What a beautiful well spaced out campground! We took advantage of the trail on site 18, which was one of the best trails in the entire park! The bathrooms are well-kept in the campground hosts were active in picking up any loose trash, as it was an extremely windy day. There were plenty of water stations and it was nice that the sewer/dump station was well away from the sites. I’m so grateful to have been able to spend my Thanksgiving here and if I’m ever back, I will RV here again. The price point was perfect especially for the beautiful site we had.

As we dove in to find our rv site we had to dodge trees that are hanging that are to low there has no upkeep of the trees in the sites . One rv had to park sideways in the rows because he could not park in his site . Just as bad driving out dodging sites . This needs to be addressed . Your camp host have no clue in looking around to see what are the needs of campers bringing large TVs to your park . Trees are literally falling over in campsites while we were there . Go look for yourself , the park superintendent should be ashamed of himself not taking a personal account for this . Other than this looks like this has Been the attitude of underachieving at its best. Even your ranger should be put to task over this . Plz do something about this . Tks .
