The campgrounds are well maintained including the individual sites, public areas and bathrooms. So quiet and beautiful. The staff were all so helpful. Well definitely be back.

The campsites are spacious and the bathhouse is clean (no showers though). We only stayed one night because it was really hot. The historic hot springs is a must see.

Clean campground. Friendly camp host. Morning campground visits by Javelinas. Easy access to the nature trail to the Rio Grande River.

The entire village campground seemed open and clean. The bathrooms were spaced to accommodate. And having the village store nearby was a great.

I absolutely loved staying at Rio Grande Village. Only problem was the gnats were horrible so bring bug spray. My favorite place to hike was at Chisos Basin - The Window, Lost Mine and Chisos Basin Loop. Make sure to see the amazing 22 minute video on the park at Panther Junction. Very informative information.

Great campground. Javelina walked through our site, not worried about the tourists. Coyotes serenaded at night. Nicely spaced sites. Good paved roads. Limited Wifi available at camp store. Fine for checking emails. No cell service.

Camp hosts went above and beyond the call of duty during the cold and wind of Christmas week.

Nice location, and very nice park staff. We were able to visit a good majority of the places we wanted while there, and retire back to our camping spot to relax.

Hey big surprise going to big band beautiful landscape great hiking trails I stayed and Rio grande Village in a tent only issue was I had to sleep in my car a few nights because they irrigated the grassy area which turned into a lake fortunately a Ranger came by to let me know to move my tent about 45 minutes before the flood came. I understand that we need to make things green but it would’ve been nice to have a choice of a different campsite

This campground was perfect for us. 28’ travel trailer on very level gravel pad. No hookups. Clean bathrooms. Lots of interesting birds, nice section of river that you can walk to. We took kayaks and canoe to north drop off point from campground called gravel pit road. Took out at a spot at the campground. 3 hour leisurely trip with great sights. Barely enough water to get through some spots. Nice drive to the Chisos, Santa Elena, Terlingua. Check out Maria and Alpine if your coming from the west to the turnoff at Marathon to get to the campground in BB.

Women's bathroom stall was out of tp. Men's bathrooms were pretty gross. Campground overall was good. Glad I was not there during Texas Spring Break.
