Campground was spacious and clean. Enjoyed visiting the sites in the area and the crossing into Boquillas. The coyotes should be eliminated from the campground area. One volunteer host was very friendly and helpful but the man & woman team (Billy?) were extremely rude and acted like the gestapo, threatening campers with fines for leaving food out while they went to the bathroom and threatened the other camp host with calling the police because his dog was barking.

A fantastic campground! The accessible site was great for our son in a wheelchair. We loved the trail up the hill right from the campground. We also loved the ranger program in the Amphitheatre!

The weather was perfect for our stay. Was hoping to stay 3 nights but was only able to secure 2 nights. So quiet and peaceful. Had a squadron of Javelinas meander through our campsite!

The restrooms were adequate, a musty vintage odor but serviceable. The best part of the campground was the access to the Rio Grande and the nature trail.

Great level campsite, hiked the nature trail up the mountain for spectacular views, took the trail off to the right to dip my toes in the Rio Grande, went to Boquillas Mexico and rode the burro and wonderful photography ops.

This is a great well maintained campground. The camp hosts are very nice helpful and visible. There is a short easy walking trail within the campground which has excellent sunset views.

The park staff were AMAZING. So knowledgeable about Big Bend Park and all the rules. This is truly a beautiful place and needs to be visited. It is unspoilt and gorgeous. The night sky and stars are a must see. Find an advantage point and simply stargaze, it wont disappoint

Wonderful experience. Some campsites are more desirable than others (more shade and privacy). The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were very clean and stocked with TP. The only negative was that the showers at the store were out of order due to a water leak. The drive to Santa Elena was spectacular and the hike was awesome.
