The visit was amazing! There is so much to explore and what we did explore was stunning. Will definitely be back!

Showers were OK but not great, no seat or hooks.

When we arrived, alas, our camper was too long to make the curve into our site. The off-duty park host came out to help us and contacted the on duty hosts (referred to as the Two Morrows because of their names). They immediately helped us out by securing an area that was formerly a road and allowed us to park there. What could have been a very disappointing adventure turned out to be wonderful as I think we had the best spot in the park. The hosts checked on us after we got settledand visited for awhile. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely return.

Be sure to check if your site allows generators or not.

My wife and I loved it here! Overall, it was quiet and peaceful, with only a few folks ocassionally running their generators to cool down from the 90 degree heat. The campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. During out four day stay we needed to switch campsite three times because of not being able to book the same campsite for every night. But you do what you have to do. Each of the thee campsites were mostly level, needing only one leveler under one wheel a couple times. The restrooms were pretty clean but frankly, the dish washing stations were pretty nasty. At ant rate, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay Rio Grande Village, and seeing the sites throughout the Park. Visit Mexico if you can. It was a very cool experience. To sum it up, I'll say this. We drove four and a half days and 1,800 miles to get to Big Bend. We would do it again in a heartbeat. We made memories that I will cherish.

Nice campsites. Only 1/3 occupancy due to CoVid.
