Really enjoyed our stay. Well kept and clean. For a dark park I would have liked to see more respect with lights, but a short drive or walk fixed that situation. In all everything was fantastic.

Well kept campground. Campground store has the essentials at reasonable prices.

Rio Grande Village is a very nice campground. The only issue I have is that, although we had a site in the non-generator section, we were right next to several generator sites. The non-generator sites arent in their own section, they are arranged in a loop outside of the generator loop, so you are next to them. Very noisy if its hot because they need to run generators for air conditioning.

This was out first trip to big bend, we had excellent and pleasant camping at Rio Grande Village, restrooms were very clean, campsites were well maintained and clean. Big Bend is really underrated park, we did few hikes (Santa Elena canyon, Boquillas Canyon, Window View Trail, Lost Mine trial, Hot springs) each of place are unique and exciting...

Site#19 has a path through camp. So many people were rude and cutting through to get to nature trail road.

We enjoyed proximity to the wonderful nature trail and had a beautiful campsite. It was so great to be able to take a walk both in the late afternoon once we arrived and also the next morning. Altho I enjoyed Cottonwood, it would have been nice had there been some sort of nature trail.

We had a tent site on the "no generator" loop. The sites are spacious, secluded and have a nice shelter and animal proof storage locker. Loved our time here!

The park and camp sites are excellent! We enjoyed a beautiful week. Our only concern were the showers. We were prepared for coin operated showers. However, the water was barely warm. There were no benches in the showers to hold your clothes and toiletries. Some people were scrambling for quarters after the store closed because there was no change machine. Other than that it's a great trip.

Stayed in #19. Nice location, wooded, lots of shade. Very close to the nature walk, so you do get some nature walk traffic. Two tent sites. One's good for going to bed late and sleeping in in the morning. The other's best for hitting the sack early and getting up early. Close to the restrooms--if you cut through the site behind you. Otherwise, it's a little longer walk.
