First time camping and I thought it was a very nice campsite! Drinking water easily available, along with bathrooms that were a very short walk, and food lockers provided. No wifi access but it is not too long of a walk or a very short drive to the Rio Grande Store that had free wifi (and showers). It is a short walk to the Rio Grande Nature Walk, and I definitely recommend to go, especially on a windy day, it was beautiful.

The campground was clean and beautiful. We had a nice shady spot and were able to beat the afternoon heat. We enjoyed to nature walk down to the Rio Grande. The must-do for us was the short drive to the hot springs for a sunrise soak.

The park was great. The Rangers were helpful and kind. The booking of the RV site was easy. The only problem and suggestion would be some sort of description of the site. We use solar on our rig and it is big. Fortunately the site we randomly picked on the map just worked for us. There were some trees that gave us some issues but over all it was fine. While we were walking around we noticed some spots that our rig would not even fit and were happy we didnt pick one of those.

Great visit. Wide variety of trails. Nice campgrounds. Be prepared for winds.

We loved staying at Rio Grande Village. It was convenient for our plans for Big Bend and we appreciated the showers up at the store after a very long couple of days of hiking. Would definitely stay there again after scoping out all of the other options.

Campground was very quiet even as full as it was. Read the information carefully before selecting a site as some sites will not take large or tall campers.

The campground is beautiful, the generators loud. What a shame, sunrise on the nature walk is so peaceful. The signs talk about the quiet of the desert, listening to the birds etc. and then at 8 AM sharp, this place turns into a war zone of generators until late at night. This could have been a relaxing experience with excellent camp hosts, good amenities, lots of wildlife and a beautiful setting. What a shame.

Great starting point for the two-mile walk along the river to the hot springs.
