A beautiful National Park. The campsites were meticulously kept. All the staff we interacted with were over the top friendly, including both volunteers and paid staff. We stayed in campsite 42 with a phenomenal view of the window. I am ready for another trip!

Got to the campsite around 9pm so we couldn't see anything but woke up to the most amazing view! Friendly people and so much wildlife 10/10 recommend

Camp hosts were awesome friendly, informative, and helpful. Site 52 had excellent views and a covered picnic table outstanding. Only downside is the campsites are too close to each other.

wonderful vistas, helpful camp hosts, highly recommend with one caveat; several sites have grade and not suitble to non leveling vehicles, again lots of help from camphost was valuable.

The place we stayed was very awesome site 52, loop 3 , it was in the middle of the mountains and very close to the famous window trail and the window view trail. The place was very clean and close to the drinking water and the restrooms. One good plus is that we can park the car close to the camping spot , which makes it easy to carry the stuffs and the picnic table has a shed which is a savior during both the sun and the rain. Over all it is a very good place to consider.

The two Camp Hosts Jeffery and his partner were exceptional. Very friendly and made sure to walk the campground and talk to people. Well done.

Excellent experience all around. Only drawback we experienced was a poorly planned return around lunchtime. Due to limited parking (I assume) there was a line to get back to the campground which took about 15 minutes to get through.

Love this place. Love the Chisos Basin. It is the premier spot of BBNP, in my humble opinion.

We stayed at campsite 52. It was absolutely perfect and isolated. The only drawback is there is a pretty good grade drop off, so you may feel like you are "sliding down" your sleeping bag throughout the night. Doesn't matter, though. The isolation far outweighed that minor drawback.

Remember, regardless of what site you pick, bring extra strong stakes for your tent. The earth here is rocky and very tough. Those wimpy stakes that come with your tent will not work.

Site 52 was right on the road and was so un-level that we couldn't level our motorhome and were forced to leave the campground. It had a beautiful view but wasn't usable for us. The description of the site should tell you that. There were open sites but the host said they were all reserved so we had to leave.

Big Bend is a big place but the campground is limited and tough to get a spot. There are no first come first serve any more so book a spot online. In a perfect world the sites would be more spread out and private but here you do have the chance for noisy neighbors. There is such a thing as “campground voices”, just like “trail voices”, but lots of people talk louder than is necessary. Still, the experience is worth it. The park is like another world, dramatic and full of pure nature.
